Optische Merkmale: Strohgelbe Farbe aufgrund der Lagerung in Eichenfässern. Eigenschaften: Gerüche von Holz, Haselnuss, blumigen Düften. Der Geschmack ist trocken, warm, harmonisch. Dieser Grappa wird ausschliesslich durch Destillation von Nebbiolo aus Barolo-Trester hergestellt und anschliessend fachmännisch in Eichenfässern gereift. Die Trester stammen aus den Gebieten, in denen der Barolo geboren wird, wie: Barolo, Monforte dAlba, Grinzane Cavour, Serralunga dAlba, Castiglione Falletto. Destilliert wird er nach dem traditionellen und typischen piemontesischen System der Dampfbrennereien.
